The Lâg Sauvage Auditorium Electro Acoustic is the backbone of my minimalist setup. Built with eco-friendly BrankoWood and a distinct rough-sawn finish, its rounded back delivers a beautifully rich, full-bodied tone. Whether I'm driving the rhythm alongside a tactile cajon or stripping things back for a quiet verse, the StageLâg preamp captures every unpolished nuance. It perfectly anchors the wooden, organic warmth that defines my acoustic era.

When a track demands a callback to my rock and grunge roots, I turn to the Shergold Provocateur Classic SP01-SD. Striking the perfect balance between retro vibes and modern grit, its mahogany body features a unique Seymour Duncan SP90 and "Pearly Gates" humbucker pairing. This combination infuses my deconstructed riffs with a vintage, biting growl and raw Texas mojo.

The Squier Classic Vibe '60s Mustang Bass is the ultimate secret weapon for my deconstructed, minimalist sound. When you're stripping away the digital wall of sound, every instrument has to pull its weight, and this short-scale powerhouse delivers exactly what my music needs.

Its $30$-inch scale length gives the strings a looser, more compliant tension, resulting in a naturally warm, round, and thumping low end. This organic "wooden" thud perfectly locks in with the tactile punch of a cajon rather than fighting against it.

Equipped with a Fender-designed alnico split-coil pickup, it punches through the acoustic arrangement with a punchy, vintage midrange clarity that frames raw vocals beautifully. It completely bypasses the sterile, hi-fi modern bass tones that clog up today's algorithms.

Instead, it offers pure, unpolished 1960s character—proving that you don’t need a massive wall of production to lay down a heavy, soulful groove.

To capture an unpolished, 100% human-made sound, this toolkit is all about analog character and indestructible reliability.

At the front line are three legendary microphones. The Shure SM58 handles commanding, raw vocals with its classic presence boost, while the Shure SM57 tightly captures the wooden thud of the cajon and tactile egg shakers. For the guitars, the Sennheiser e906 is the perfect partner, delivering a punchy, upfront midrange that lets the raw acoustic and vintage humbucker tones bite right through the mix.

Before hitting the digital world, the microphones pass through the PreSonus TubePre v2. Dialing up its 12AX7 vacuum tube drive adds a warm, subtle saturation and natural compression. This instantly strips away any sterile digital coldness, giving the minimalist tracks a moody, organic soul.

Finally, everything plugs into the PreSonus Studio 24c audio interface. Its pristine XMAX-L preamps ensure that every single human imperfection, raw lyric, and acoustic nuance is captured with crystal-clear fidelity. It’s a flawless bridge from the physical world to the listener.

To bring the heavy, deconstructed energy of my rock and grunge roots into a minimalist acoustic space, the Tech 21 SansAmp GT2 and Boss BD-2 Blues Driver are my absolute secret weapons. They inject pure, unpolished attitude into the signal chain without relying on digital plug-ins.

The SansAmp GT2 acts as my architectural foundation. It is an all-analog tone shaper that perfectly models the raw, heavy saturation of vintage tube amplifiers. While it delivers incredible tube-like roar for electric guitars, it is also my secret weapon for bass. Running the Squier Mustang Bass through its "Tweed" or "British" settings introduces a rich, harmonic overdrive that binds the short-scale low-end beautifully, giving it an aggressive, tape-saturated warmth that slices right through an acoustic mix.

Sitting right beside it, the Boss Blues Driver adds dynamic, touch-sensitive soul. It doesn't mask the natural character of the instruments; instead, it responds beautifully to the intensity of my playing. It coaxes a vintage, biting growl from the humbuckers for sure.
