Crafting sound with purpose and passion

After doing the live music scene in York in the late 90s and early 2000s as a member of the band Reborn, life took over. My 20s were a blur of loud gigs, heavily influenced by the raw power of 90s grunge, Nu-Metal, and electronic beats.

Then came my 30s and 40s, the beautiful chaos of being a husband, raising a child and building a career. But turning 50 scratched a long-dormant itch.

I returned to the studio to capture that lifetime of influence, releasing my indie/rock solo album, "Reached Level 50." With that milestone ticked off, it’s time to strip away the digital wall of sound.

In a musical landscape increasingly dominated by AI and algorithms, Elusive Walker stands in proud opposition. My new chapter is human-made, built on the belief that music needs its imperfections to have a soul, and only using technology to enhance or augment the Art selectively.

Shifting away from heavy production toward the unfiltered energy of local open mic nights, this project is built entirely around the resonant warmth of acoustic guitar, the wooden thud of a cajon, tactile egg shakers, and commanding, raw vocals. It’s a moody, minimalist re-imagining of my rock roots, deconstructed.

While I shift toward the warm, unfiltered pull of acoustic setups for local open mics, the heavy volume never left me. On one hand, I focus on the stripped-back, acoustic stuff—letting the wood, raw vocals, and minimalist space speak for themselves. But on the other, I write and record hard indie rock, where my true soul lives: fast, loud, and uncompromising.
